About the Company                 

Our client, a newly opened Winery Restaurant located in Healseville is seeking a 1st Year Apprentice Chef to join their upbeat team.

This is a friendly team environment where you will have the opportunity to gain new skills and complete a nationally recognised qualification. You will receive excellent training, support and become a member of their newly created team.

About the Role

You will be working Full-Time (38 hours per week) and may be required to work split shifts, including morning, afternoon and weekend shifts.

As an Apprentice Chef you will be required to:

•Prepare, cook and serve food for food service
•Coordinate cooking operations
•Use food preparation equipment
•Maintain the quality of perishable items
•Be aware of special dietary requirements
•Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of the food preparation areas
•Be aware of hazards, and assess and control safety risks
•Have exceptional customer service and communication skills

About You

The person we're looking for is enthusiastic, demonstrates initiative, works well under pressure, has excellent customer service skills and a high level or personal presentation and hygiene. But most of all we are looking for candidates that have a passion for completing a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery Apprenticeship.
