The opportunity 

 We have a great opportunity for a successful person to complete their Certificate III in Engineering. You will be working Monday to Friday with a well respected and well known company who operated in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne . Opportunity for Overtime and occasional weekend work available. This is a great opportunity for someone to start their career in Fitting and Turning.

Who we’re looking for

 The successful candidate will be mechanically minded, be diligent and not afraid to get their hand dirty. You will enjoy learning new skills on a daily basics and become part of a fantastic working environment.

You will:

• Show a willingness to work hard and be diligent. Aspire to learning a trade and make components and objects from metallic materials

• Have completed year 11 schooling, preferably year 12

• Display an interest in mechanics and how things work

• Current Australian Drivers Licence, this is not mandatory, but will be required as time goes on

• Have some mechanical aptitude, hand writing skills and reasonable level of english and mathematics

• Be prepared to work with others and be part of a team

• Be prepared to work with your hands in an industrial / laboratory environment
