Business Traineeship

A national early childhood ballet school, with head office located in Charlestown, is currently seeking a Business trainee to join their team.  This would be a great opportunity for a recent school leaver!


This is a trainee position assisting the Boutique Coordinator with the daily running of the boutique and is provided with on the job training support to gain the necessary skills to fulfill the requirements of Certificate III in Business Traineeship


- Complete traineeship study within allocated time provided as per contract agreement
- Provide customer service in a professional manner
- Process incoming mail daily
- Daily packing of boutique online orders and new ballerina tutu dispatch
- Packing of marketing material
- Preparation of new Teacher starter packs
- Preparation of in class ballerina items for each term
- Daily entry of Fastway tracking numbers
- Involvement in Stocktake
- Maintaining boutique area
- Daily Trial Ballerina procedure
- Process absenteeism form, update class roll and contacting ballerina families to schedule make up classes
- Data entry and general office duties


- Maintain general tidiness of office and complete cleaning duties as per rotating roster
- Effectively implement company WH&S policy at all times
- Complete adhoc duties as requested by Operations Manager
- Assisting with telephone enquiries and conducting customer callouts when required.


- Developing customer services skills
- Sound verbal and written communication skills
- Maintaining positive relationships in a team environment
- Basic computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Problem solving skills.


 Willingness to undertake a full time traineeship completing Certificate III in Business Administration – Business Services
