About the Company

Our client's host employer is seeking Food and Beverage Trainees to work in their Waterloo and Bondi Junction Restaurants.  Our host is an alternative food restaurant serving thousands of healthy food lovers each week.

About the Role

These are multiple positions, where you are able to work 38 hours per week full time which includes weekend. This role is responsible to provide a consistent and high quality standard of food and beverage set up/service to all clients. Work closely with the management within the food and beverage department to achieve high quality service, presentation and delivery to all guests. The work can involve standing for long hours due to the nature of the work. 

As a Food and Beverage Trainees you will be required to complete a Certificate III in Hospitality Course Code: SIT30616.  

Your roles and responsibilities may include but not limited to: 
 
Ensure excellent and professional customer service at all times.
Setup and reset specific function activities as directed.
Undertake general waiting and service duties of food and beverages.
Communicate and liaise with team members, kitchen and other areas of operation
Follow hygienic food and beverage handling procedures.
Adhere to Responsible Service of Alcohol legislation.
Ability to work in a team based environment.
Able to work a flexible roster including evening and weekend work where necessary.
Other duties as required and outlined by the Food and Beverage Manager and Supervisor

 About You

The position requires someone who is passionate about kick starting their career as a Food and Beverage Attendant. 

Requirements are: 

Neat personal appearance
High level of personal hygiene  
Good memory
Polite and patient
Excellent team work skills and reliability are essential for this position. 
Must hold or willing to obtain your Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate prior to commencement of employment.  
Must be a permanent resident or Australian Citizen and committed to completing a 2 year apprenticeship
A friendly, customer focused attitude with the strive to provide Total Customer Satisfaction
Initiative to ensure that interactions with our customers are positive and efficient
The ability and flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including early mornings, late evenings and on weekends
