Our host employer is an Early Childhood Centre and located in Manly, they specialise in the early education and care of children aged 6 weeks to 6 years of age.

 About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a certificate III trainee who will work Monday to Friday 38 hours per week. You must be someone who is flexible and committed to learning all aspects of the role. This is a great opportunity for anyone wanting to commence a traineeship within the childcare industry

As a childcare trainee you will be required to complete a Certificate III in Early Education and Care – CHC30113

As a Certificate III Trainee you will learn how to: 

Plan for the long, short-term and spontaneous needs of the children using observations and knowledge in relation to interests, skills, abilities, background and culture.
Speak to the children in a friendly, courteous manner encouraging children to extend their vocabulary and use of language.
Establish and maintain suitable developmental records and observations daily based on the Centre’s philosophy.
Implement effective behaviour management techniques and strategies, which are consistent with the Centre’s policies.
Assisting with interactive program for the mornings and afternoons when there is a combined group.
Attend all staff meetings held monthly and as required.
Develop a good report with the parents.
 
About You

 The person we're looking for is enthusiastic, hardworking, reliable, must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident and be willing to obtain a working with children’s check as this is a requirement for the role. Looking for candidates with a passion for completing a 12 month traineeship and love working with children.
