Chef - 2nd or 3rd year apprentice

Pearl Catering is currently seeking a 2nd or 3rd year apprentice to join their dynamic Food and Beverage department working within our core team at Vaucluse House.

The right candidate must:

•Be passionate about cooking
•Be reliable, punctual and hardworking
•Have an eye for quality & consistency
•Adhere to food safety principles

Responsibilities:

•Prepare ingredients for dishes upon the instructions of Head Chef
•Assist and help create new recipes or food menus in collaboration with the Sous Chef, Chef and other kitchen team members
•Ensure that food recipes are followed properly during food preparation and cooking time
•Make sure that food supplies are stored properly and used resourcefully and kitchen is clean and organized
