Chef - 1st or 2nd year apprentice

A bohemian style restaurant, located in Byron Bay, offering a selection of wood-fired pizzas, share platters, cocktails, wine and live music is currently seeking a passionate apprentice to join their team.

As an apprentice Chef, you will continue to use food preparation equipment, produce dishes using various Cooking methods, use hygienic practices for food safety and help to plan and design basic menus.  

You will also continue working towards completing a national recognised qualification in Certificate III Commercial Cookery.

To be considered for the position you must be willing to learn, committed, have a genuine interest in the food industry and reliable.  Those with previous experience within the kitchen or those who have started their Commercial Cookery apprenticeship will be highly regarded.
