Our client is seeking a Horticulture Trainee to with their Horticulture team.  They are located in Banksmeadow. Our client has emerged from strong market demand for green walls and quickly established themselves as a business renowned for delivering complex and innovative green walls, roofs and facades.

About the Role

In this role the ideal candidate will be able to work 38 hours per week full time which may include weekend. This role is responsible to assist the Horticulture team to maintain our client’s projects in timely and cost-effective manner whilst meeting our quality and safety standards. You will be working outdoors every day with a great bunch of people who are passionate about what they do. As a Horticulture Trainee you will be required to complete a Certificate III in Horticulture. 

 Your roles and responsibilities may include but not limited to: 
•Deliver all tasks in a timely manner according to quality and safety standards
•Actively listen and contribute to team meetings and toolbox talks
•Communicate in a respectful and professional manner at all times
•Report any quality or safety issues immediately
•Other duties as required and outlined by the Horticulture Manager
•All tasks performed in an enthusiastic manner with a willingness to take direction and learn
•Follows safety and quality standards as directed by the Manager and reports any issues in timely manner
•Attends team meetings and proactively contribute ideas and feedback
•Keeps up-to-date with course work and attends TAFE as required

The position requires someone who is passionate about kick starting their career as a Horticulture Trainee.
