About the Company

Our client is a respected Restaurant Group that has multiple locations throughout Sydney they specialise in fresh seafood, mouth-watering meats on the waterfront location in the heart of Sydney’s CBD.

About the Role

You will be required to work a 7 day rotating roster which includes: weekends, weekdays, evenings and public holidays. As part of your training you will also be required to undertake a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery

As a 2nd or 3rd Year apprentice chef you will be required to:

Use food preparation equipment
Produce dishes using basic methods of cookery
Produce appetisers, salads, stocks, sauces and soups
Clean kitchen premises and equipment
Use hygienic practices for food safety
Participate in safe food handling practices

About You

The person we're looking for is enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable. You must be willing to learn all aspects of a busy kitchen and have completed a minimum of 1 year of on the job training. But most of all we are looking for candidates that have a passion for completing a 3 year apprenticeship.
