Fitter Machinist - 1st or 2nd Year Apprentice

With over 30 Years experience in Head Design in Australia’s premier touring car championship, the V8 Supercar series, our client who is located in Dandenong South has been able to prove themselves as class leaders in head design.  Benefiting from seven years working for Larry Perkins/Perkins Engineering and providing components to many of the top teams, the results speak for themselves.  The business is continuing to expand and is looking to employ an enthusiastic young apprentice to learn the Fitting/Machinist trade. 

The apprenticeship would involve learning all facets of General machining on high precision cylinder head and block & head milling & grinding and also Engine reconditioning machines.  A Huge variety of machining skills would be gained in this career.
This is an opportunity that shouldn't be missed, as a tremendous amount of knowledge can be gained from this Australian owned and operated business.  You will also be working towards completing a nationally recognized qualification - Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication Trade (Fitter/Machinist).

The successful applicant must be highly motivated, have excellent communication skills and be able to work unsupervised as well as being able to work as a team member.  You must have great work ethic, be trustworthy, reliable and be really passionate about getting into the Fitting/Machinist trade.
